If you're a resident of Everglades City, Marco Island, or Naples, have a Florida Driver's license, or you received a traffic ticket in Florida, then traffic school may be for you! By electing traffic school you may be able to avoid points on your driver's license, and maintain your clean driving record.

In order to elect traffic school you must return this Traffic Citation Option Form to the clerk's office within 30 calender days from the date the citation was issued. Consider your options carefully, because once you make a selection you cannot change it.

You are responsible for providing the Clerk's office with your certificate of completion. The Clerk's office must receive the Certificate of Completion within 60 days of the date you elect school.

There are many Driver School Course Providers in Florida. You can find a traffic school online, or you can enroll in a Florida DHSMV and Court approved online traffic school course with The Emilio School, Inc.

1. Your insurance rates cannot go up and your policy cannot be canceled unless you are at fault in a crash.
