Walk in customers, must show a valid ID or driver's license when paying by personal check. You have 90 days from the date the citation was issued to resolve it. No extensions will be allowed. All payments are to be made in full, no partial payments are allowed unless you have been court ordered. Once you are beyond the time allowed to resolve the citation, the process of suspending your driver's license will begin and late fees of up to $18.00 will be added. Personal checks will not be accepted once a late fee has assessed. If non-compliance exceeds 6 months, citation may be subject to collections. It is very important that you take care of your traffic ticket as soon as possible.

If your ticket number is not showing up in the Court system you may need to try back. It sometimes takes a few weeks for the issuing agency to submit the citation to the Clerk’s office. You have thirty (30) days to pay a traffic ticket, request a hearing, or elect traffic school.

Before paying a traffic citation, or electing traffic school you should discuss your case with an experienced traffic ticket attorney in St. Johns County. Paying your traffic tickets could result in points on your license, higher insurance rates, or possible even the suspension of your driver‘s license.
